Villa Braida is an elegant neo-classical building, enchanting to the eye, where you can privately and intimately discover its renowned culinary art immersed in the tranquillity of the “Locus Amoenus”.
The construction of the Villa dates back to the distant 1800s when Count Emilio Ferdinando Braida, of ancient French origin, settled in the Venetian hinterland where his son Giovanni commissioned the construction of the current villa, immersed in a park of immeasurable beauty.
Subsequently, the building was owned by various noble Italian families, in order: the Cutrone, the Mastea, and finally the Ancillotto who transformed it into a farm.
Finally, in the early 1990s, it was converted into a prestigious hotel with an internal restaurant and conference centre.
Since 1999 Villa Braida has been owned by the Zuin Family, whose desire is to combine the passion for hospitality with the ancient art of wine, taking inspiration from the surrounding lands.
In fact, Villa Braida is located in the heart of the production of Glera grapes, with which the worldwide famous Prosecco Doc is produced. Among the most ambitious projects by the Zuin family, the most important will involve the restoration of the old vineyards surrounding the Villa.
The main villa consists of a central block on three levels and two lower side wings; the complex is completed by two barchesse and is set in a 7-hectare park enriched by numerous centuries-old trees.
Currently, the villa houses a 4-star hotel with 10 rooms harmoniously inserted in the Treviso countryside, yet strategically located halfway between Venice and Treviso.
On the side is the dependance, a building built later that offers 32 additional rooms.
