The beach called plages des Minimes allows you to admire Fort Boyard, the lighthouse of the "end of the world", and the islands of Ré, Oléron and Aix. Many other activities are close to our hotel, including the unmissable La Rochelle Aquarium (800 m away), where more than 12,000 marine animals live, and the Maritime Museum (400 m away). Of course, you can reach the heart of the city in a few minutes on foot. Passing by, you will discover the 3 towers of La Rochelle: the Saint Nicolas tower, the Chaine tower and the Lantern tower. Thus, you will arrive opposite the Old Port, a must-see, picturesque and lively tourist spot, lined with chic wine bars and seafood bistros. Finally, you will pass under the Big Clock, an essential sign that separates the old port from the historic city centre...You’ll have remained by the seaside throughout this entire relaxing walk!
